Job summary

George's Inc. is seeking an Occupational Maintenance Technician Level 2 to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment in the facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, install or remove equipment, and maintain organized work areas across shifts.

The role requires reading manuals and blueprints, basic welding, and a valid driver's license. You will work with a range of tools and must respond to emergencies while keeping documentation up to date.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• Able to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Must have or be able to obtain necessary tools, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance in assigned area.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment used in the facility.
• Perform repairs and equipment installation/removal in an efficient manner.
• Maintain good housekeeping at workstations and work areas.
• Respond to plant emergencies including Haz-Mat incidents, equipment malfunctions, fires, severe weather, etc.
• Lock out / tag out certification.
• Complete daily maintenance paperwork for assigned work orders/requests and checklists.
• Special projects/duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor or manager.

The Occupational Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks on all equipment in the assigned area.
