Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in machine maintenance, building maintenance, preventive maintenance, carpentry, electrical, heating, cooling systems, plumbing and/or electrical.
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Basic welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Have or obtain tools needed to perform the above tasks.
• Operational knowledge of common hand, power, and industrial tools.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance in the assigned area.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with limited supervision.
• Perform repairs and equipment installation/removal efficiently.
• Maintain clean workstations and areas.
• Respond to plant emergencies (Haz-Mat, equipment failure, fires) as directed.
• Complete lock out/tag out certification.
• Complete daily maintenance paperwork for work orders and checklists.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by supervisor or manager.

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks on all equipment in the assigned area.
