General Motors in Lansing is hiring an Occupational Health Registered Nurse for on-site, ad hoc shifts. The PRN role provides emergency care, first aid and episodic treatment under standing orders, with shifts scheduled in advance based on need.

The successful candidate will have an Associate Degree in Nursing, a valid state license, and at least two years of nursing experience, with EMR proficiency and flexibility for 2nd shift and weekend coverage. The hourly rate is $44 and is non-negotiable.

Qualificações

• 2 years of prior nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Valid state nursing license required
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer software
• Flexibility for shift coverage, specifically 2nd shift and weekends

Responsabilidades

• Administers professional nursing care to sick and/or injured employees
• Performs and evaluates various clinical and diagnostic tests
• Assists plant physician in minor surgical procedures
• Interviews and documents medical history of employees
• Works effectively with the Health Services team and other departments
• Maintains appropriate medical records to ensure quality and accuracy
• Performs and documents physical exams
• Adheres to common practices and procedures throughout the department
• Maintains equipment and supplies
• Assists with the promotion of plant wellness programs
• Works with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner
