Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support occupational health and workers' compensation programs in Omaha, NE. The role involves nursing care, case management, employee health screenings, and care coordination for work-related injuries and illnesses.

The ideal candidate has experience in occupational health, orthopedics, or an emergency room setting and can coordinate care with healthcare providers, safety teams, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Nursing.
• Active RN license required.
• 35 years of nursing experience in one or more of: Occupational Health, Orthopedics, ER/ED.
• Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
• Fluent Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management support as needed.
• Perform post-offer drug screenings and vision screenings.
• Maintain medical records per HIPAA, Nurse Practice Act, ADA, and Medical Privacy Act guidelines.
• Communicate screening and medical results to Corporate Safety.
• Provide, monitor and coordinate medical care for workers compensation patients.
• Deliver quality, compassionate, and consistent patient care within established medical standards.
• Manage work-related injuries and illnesses by coordinating care with physicians, specialists, staff, and leadership.
• Help employees return to work quickly and safely.
