Job summary

Yoh Healthcare in Summit, NJ is seeking a polished Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our client on a 1 year+ contract. This 40-hour-a-week role operates in a pharmaceutical environment.

You will provide clinical and administrative services, perform phlebotomy, surveillance testing, and manage injuries and illnesses, while ensuring compliance with OH policies. Extended hours may be required bi-monthly.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Hold a NJ license in good standing.
• RN with Occupational Health experience a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of acute experience.
• CPR and ACLS preferred.
• Strong computer skills proficiency.
• COHN/COHN-S preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services, including phlebotomy, surveillance testing, and management of injuries and illnesses.
• Order and maintain necessary supplies and equipment for the Occupational Health clinic.
• Submit monthly data for tracking and performance metrics analysis.
• Deliver health surveillance and emergency response services.
• Work closely with the Life Safety Team and OH teams to implement safety policies and SOPs.
• Coordinate with disability and workers' compensation providers for case management.
• Support the multidisciplinary accommodations team as a medical SME.
• Engage in health and wellness initiatives across the site.
• Utilize OH EMR and Microsoft platforms; cover extended clinic hours bi-monthly.

Yoh Healthcare is looking for a polished, professional, and corporate savvy Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our client in Summit, NJ.

This is a 1 year+ contract position working in a Pharmaceutical Company, 40 hours per week.

HOURS

7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with one Wednesday a month requiring an extended shift until 6:00 p.m.

What You'll Be Doing:

Th Occupational Health Nurse will provide clinical, case management, and administrative services Working alongside the Provider.

• Provide clinical services, which include phlebotomy, surveillance testing, and management of injuries and illnesses.
• Order and maintain necessary supplies and equipment for the Occupational Health clinic.
• Submit monthly data for tracking and performance metrics analysis.
• Deliver health surveillance and emergency response services.
• Work closely with the Life Safety Team.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal occupational health and safety policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with Occupational Health teams to implement safety policies and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with the company's disability and workers' compensation insurance providers to effectively manage cases related to occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, including both short-term and long-term disability claims.
• Support the multidisciplinary accommodations team as a medical subject matter expert.
• Engage in the promotion of company-wide and site-specific health and wellness initiatives.
• Proficiently utilize OH electronic medical system and Microsoft platform.
• Be available to cover extended clinic hours on a bi-monthly basis.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
