Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Float Clinician in the Columbus, OH area to join its patient care team and deliver high-quality clinical services in occupational health settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related health field from an accredited college or university.
• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing.
• Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) or FNP.
• Current licensed physician assistant or CRNP.
• Must maintain work state physician assistant licensure throughout employment.
• Preferrably has at least two years of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, primary care, sports medicine or emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical assessment of Center patients across multiple clinics.
• Examines patient, compiles medical data and examination results.
• Administers or orders diagnostic tests such as x-ray, ECG, and laboratory tests.
• Compiles patient medical history and physical examination results.
• Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
• Performs therapeutic procedures including injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care.
• Instructs and counsels patients on prescribed therapies and health maintenance.
• Develops and implements patient management plans and records progress notes.
