Job summary

Concentra, Inc. in Allentown, PA seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support outpatient centers in the Lehigh Valley.

The role involves medical assessments, ordering diagnostics, and developing patient management plans to deliver high-quality care. The position offers a competitive base salary with annual merit increases and bonus incentives, with Center practice hours Mon-Fri, 8-5, no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing.
• Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) or FNP.
• Current licensed physician assistant or CRNP in Pennsylvania.
• Must maintain work state licensure throughout the course of employment.
• Prefer at least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, primary care or an emergency medicine setting.
• DOT/FMCSA certification - active or willing to get during credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical assessment of Center patients (multiple clinics).
• Examines patient, compiles patient medical data and results of examination.
• Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
• Compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
• Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
• Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
• Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
• Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
