Valley Health System in Paramus, NJ seeks an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to deliver comprehensive occupational and environmental health services in the Employee Health Department. The role covers diverse adult age groups and requires ongoing regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidate has a BSN, 5 years of medical/surgical nursing with occupational health exposure, OHN or OHNC certification within 2 years, and CPR/BCLS with AED.

Qualifications

• Five years of medical/surgical nursing experience, with outpatient setting preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a BSN or healthcare-related bachelor’s degree.
• Current OHN certification or OHNC within 2 years of hire; CPR/BCLS with AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational and environmental health nursing services to employees and prospective employees.
• Respond to changing working environments and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate health programs, surveillance, and case management within Employee Health.
