Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to promote health and safety for workers. The role involves conducting medical assessments, delivering wellness education, and assisting in emergency response within the plant environment.

The position offers on-the-job training, relocation not applicable, and a 4-day work week from 5:30am to 3:30pm, with occasional travel to local clinics. A current RN license is required, with adjustments for new grads holding LPN/BSN credentials welcome.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted state RN license required.
• 1+ years nursing experience preferred but not required; new grads with LPN or BSN considered.
• Occupational Health experience not required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical history and physical assessments to promote health.
• Provide education on communicable diseases and wellness initiatives.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies with first aid and CPR as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and recovery.
• Travel to local clinics or hospitals as needed.
