Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a per diem APC to support a float pool across three occupational health locations in Corbin, Richmond, and Lexington. The role requires a minimum of three shifts per month and clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no weekends.

The APC will provide direct patient care within a physician-led team, adhering to state law and approved Medical Staff privileges. DOT training and suturing/minor procedures capability are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and completion of accredited APC program.
• National certification from the appropriate national certifying agency for APC.
• Current valid and unrestricted license to practice as an APC in Kentucky.
• BCLS required through the American Heart Association; ACLS as required for position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of a physician-led team.
• Collaborate with health professionals to deliver high quality, cost effective care.
• Influence health care decisions through clinical reasoning and practice.
