Job summary

HealthWorks Medical LLC is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a PRN Float role across multiple clinic locations in Kentucky. The provider will work in urgent care and occupational medicine, assessing and treating a range of illnesses and injuries while collaborating with the HealthWorks team.

Flexibility, dependability, and the ability to travel to different HealthWorks clinic locations are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Kentucky APRN license (or PA license)
• Ability to practice in Kentucky per licensure rules
• Clinical skills to assess/diagnose/manage in urgent care/occupational medicine
• Experience ordering/interpreting diagnostic studies (X-rays, labs)
• Experience evaluating/treating sprains, fractures, wounds; suturing capability
• Willingness to travel and work at multiple HealthWorks locations

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, manage, and treat illnesses and injuries
• Ref er patients to primary or specialist care when indicated
• Promote health and evaluate overall health status
• Order and interpret X-rays and laboratory studies
• Evaluate and treat sprains, strains, fractures, and wounds
• Perform suturing and wound care
• Collaborate with HealthWorks team to provide patient-centered care
• Adapt to different clinic locations and workflows
