Job summary
Baptist Health Lexington is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join the Medical Group. The APC provides direct patient care as part of a physician-led team in compliance with state law and privileges.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with an accredited APC program, national certification, active Kentucky license, BCLS, and ACLS as required. The role offers competitive compensation, CME allowance, malpractice insurance, generous time off, and mentorship opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with accredited APC program.
- National certification from the appropriate certifying agency for the APC.
- Must maintain national certification.
- Active license to practice as an APC in Kentucky.
- BCLS required through the American Heart Association.
- ACLS as required for position.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as part of a physician-led team in accordance with State Law and approved Medical Staff privileges.
- Autonomously provide high-quality patient care while collaborating with other health professionals.
- Contribute to clinical reasoning, research, and theory-based practice.
- Adhere to Baptist Health Medical Group policies and regulatory standards.
