Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, CA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide quality health services at a satellite facility between Tracy and Livermore. Qualifications

• Must hold a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent plus NP certification or PA license with CA license
• Experience providing medical treatment to employees and conducting medical surveillance exams
• Experience counseling on safe workplace habits and health in the workplace
• Experience in health promotion counseling and program development for Laboratory employees
• Advanced analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills for complex medical issues
• Immunization proof for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella

Responsibilities

• Provide initial diagnosis for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses and medical treatment
• Provide medical surveillance/certification exams compliant with regulatory standards
• Conduct physical exams including phlebotomy, EKG, spirometry, audiometry and vision testing
• Provide counseling on safe workplace health and notify concerns
• Collaborate with ESH professionals on health-related activities and program development
• Perform other duties as assigned
