Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Livermore, CA is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (Advanced Clinical Practitioner) to join the Employee Health and Well-being clinic.

You will provide diagnostic assessment, treatment, and referrals, lead the clinical team, review surveillance exams, and advise management on travel, return to work, and accommodations. On-site work required; DOE clearance required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required with at least 10 years of nursing experience.
• Minimum 5 years of nurse practitioner experience.
• Minimum 3 years of occupational medicine experience.
• Ability to obtain CA/NM/NV licensure and DEA license.
• Ability to obtain DOE L-level security clearance.
• Experience delivering direct patient care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic assessment, treatment, and referrals for occupational and non-occupational illnesses.
• Lead the clinical team and provide education and guidance.
• Conduct medical surveillance, interpret tests, prescribe medications, and make health care assessments.
• Advise management and employees on travel, return to work, and accommodations.
• Respond to on-site medical emergencies using BLS and ACLS.
• Coordinate care with case managers.
