Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver occupational health and acute care at assigned Marathon Health Centers. You will lead a clinical team, provide primary care, and collaborate with employer representatives to manage injuries and illnesses.

You will review histories, perform exams, prescribe treatments, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while supporting patient wellness programs and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field is required.
• Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure required.
• Board certification in a specified area of medical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical primary care and occupational health services to employees.
• Oversee, mentor, and coordinate care with clinic staff (MA, LPN, RN).
• Perform examinations, diagnose conditions, and prescribe treatments per protocols.
• Coordinate with employers and workers’ comp insurers for case management.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper medical records management.
