Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, MI seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant Associate to join the Occupational Health Services team. You will support clinic operations, perform diagnostic tests, manage supplies, and provide direct patient care across two sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or Medical Assistant program, strong organizational skills, and experience in a fast-paced health system. Hybrid work options may apply; full-time schedule with 10-hour shifts.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or enrollment in healthcare coursework.
• Knowledge of clinical workflows and medical terminology.
• Experience in a health system or similar environment.
• Strong organization and prioritization under pressure.
• Computer literacy and data entry ability.
• Knowledge of testing procedures in a clinical setting.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients and support patient flow per OHS procedures.
• Complete intake: chief complaints, vitals, height/weight, vision testing.
• Perform point-of-care testing, urinalysis, audiometry, injections, and blood draws.
• Administer/read TB tests and provide immunizations.
• Phlebotomy and color vision testing; process drug screens where needed.
• Prepare patients for exams; communicate results to providers.
