The University of Michigan's Michigan Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant for Occupational Health Services in Ann Arbor. You will support clinic operations by assisting with clinical procedures, handling patient flow and performing testing.

The role requires a high school diploma or MA program completion (or enrollment), 1–3 years in a health system, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with computers. This is a full-time, hybrid position at two sites with regular day shifts.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program OR enrollment in healthcare coursework; 1–3 years preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients and support patient flow per OHS procedures.
• Complete patient intake with vital signs, chief complaints, and basic testing.
• Perform point-of-care testing, urinalysis, injections, and blood draws within scope.
• Administer and read TB skin tests and immunizations; phlebotomy.
• Maintain equipment, order supplies, and support vaccine management.
