Job summary

UP Health System – Bell is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for Occupational Medicine in Michigan. The role features a full-time schedule with varied shifts and a $2,500 sign-on bonus paid over two years, supporting patient assessments, specimen collection, and clinical documentation.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of a Medical Assistant program, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Medical Assistant Program.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under supervision.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Document patient care provided.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, including stocking and cleaning.
• Maintain examination areas and support spaces.
• Perform administrative duties such as registration, scheduling and data entry.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and teammates.

Education

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
