PRIME Occupational Medicine is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team in Texas. The role focuses on providing healthcare, safety inspections, and health program development for workers.

Responsibilities include conducting physicals, treating illnesses, and documenting care in line with Prime standards. The APP will perform examinations, order labs and imaging, determine treatment plans, and coordinate follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Active APP license in Texas required.
• Prior experience in occupational medicine preferred.
• Ability to provide after-hours call coverage.
• Supervision by a licensed SP on-site or via telecommunication.

Responsabilités

• Take histories and conduct exams relevant to patient care and fitness for duty evaluations.
• Order and interpret CBCs, chemistries, UA and other labs.
• Order and interpret radiology, pulmonary function tests and audiograms.
• Establish diagnoses and plan care.
• Refer patients for follow-up care when indicated.
• Document all patient care per Prime Occupational Medicine standards.
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions.
• Perform additional clinical services within NP scope of practice.
