Prime Occupational Medicine seeks a licensed Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver occupational health care across multiple Prime locations in Texas. You will take histories, perform exams, order labs and imaging, establish diagnoses, and develop care plans under supervision via on-site or telecommunication links.

Responsibilities include after-hours call coverage, patient education, discharge instructions, and referrals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology and medications.
• Ability to prioritize decision making and act quickly in the best interest of the patient.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
• Must be available for after-hours call coverage.
• Active APP license in the state of Texas is required.

Responsabilités

• Take pertinent histories and perform examinations relevant to patient complaint and presentation.
• Order and interpret results of routine laboratory tests and other pertinent labs.
• Order and interpret routine radiological studies and audiograms.
• Establish medical diagnoses and determine a plan of care and treatment.
• Refer patients for appropriate follow-up care when indicated.
• Deliver and document all aspects of patient care according to Prime Occupational Medicine standards.
• Provide patient healthcare teaching and counseling relevant to presenting problems.
• Document discharge instructions and summarization.
• Other clinical services deemed appropriate within the NP's scope of practice.
