Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking an Occupational Hand Therapist in Noblesville. The therapist will evaluate and provide therapy for disabled patients while ensuring a safe environment and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Applicants should have a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited OT program and a valid Indiana Occupational Therapist license. The position is full-time with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited OT program is required.

• Minimum of one year of orthotic experience with orthopedic hand patients.

Schedule

• Full-time

Hours

• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 7:30 am—4:30 pm
• Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 am—6:00 pm
• No weekends or major holidays

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and provide therapy for disabled patients.
• Establish and maintain a safe environment conducive to effective team functioning, positive patient outcomes and personal safety.
• Provide quality service to impaired individuals and communicate effectively with staff, peers, patients, families, physicians, and all internal/external customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited OT program is required.
• Valid Indiana Occupational Therapist license or temporary permit; Certified Hand Therapist preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one year of orthotic experience with orthopedic hand patients.
• Knowledgeable in anatomy/physiology, evaluation and therapy, theoretical concepts and techniques, current materials and technological advances, and new professional trends.
• Ability to incorporate an understanding of the behaviors, developmental needs, physical needs, emotional needs, and comfort of the child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient.
