Job summary

Theracare is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver exemplary home health care for adults in Plymouth, Culver and Walkerton areas. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and collaborative regional management support within a patient-centered team.

The OT will evaluate and treat patients per physician orders, employing therapeutic techniques to restore strength, coordination, and function while promoting quality care and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
• Prefer minimum one year experience in rehabilitation
• New Graduates are welcome to apply
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with orders from the physician, through the use of therapeutic procedures designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, to relieve pain, improve movement and function.
• Work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Occupational Therapy.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
