Theracare is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a hybrid, part-time position in Indiana. The OT will evaluate and treat patients across multiple settings, including skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, long-term care, and home health care, under physician orders.

We welcome new grads and experienced therapists alike. Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and NBCOT certification, with strong communication skills and a willingness to work across

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and NBCOT certification.
• 1+ year rehabilitation experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide therapy in SNFs, outpatient, LTC or home health.
• Demonstrates competency in applying therapy principles and materials.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders using therapeutic procedures and devices to maximize functional potential.
• Work as part of a therapy team to support patient care.
• Provide services in diverse settings including SNFs, outpatient facilities, long-term care facilities or home health care.

The Occupational Therapist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with the orders from the physician, through the use of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potential in all areas of a patient's life. The Occupational Therapist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Occupational Therapy. The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
• Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
• New grads welcome to apply
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
• Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
