California Rehabilitation & Sports Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement therapy programs to improve daily living skills and overall well-being. You will work with patients to enhance physical, mental, and emotional health, promoting engagement in meaningful activities.

The role involves comprehensive assessments, development of personalized plans, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, critical thinking, and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments including exercises, manual therapy, ADL training, and adaptive equipment based on patient needs.
• Educate patients and families on techniques, home exercises, and adaptive strategies to maximize independence.
• Regularly reassess progress and modify plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and plans per regulatory standards.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and rehab team to ensure coordinated care.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality.
• Ensure patients follow Plan of Care and follow up as needed.
• Collaborate with nonclinical staff to support caseload.
