Related Affordable is hiring a Part Time Occupancy and Recertification Specialist for our 200-unit Hacienda community in Phoenix, AZ. You will manage certifications, retroactive rent calculations, and verifications while delivering excellent resident service.

Ideal candidates have Section 8, LIHTC, and HUD knowledge, strong organizational skills, and 2-4 years leasing experience. This on-site role offers part-time hours with benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Create welcoming experiences for residents through daily interactions
• Process certifications (initial, interim, annual) and calculate retroactive rent
• Collect required documents and process verifications
• Maintain accuracy while managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Complete tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision
• Prioritize and manage time to meet deadlines and expectations
• Support site and office operations as directed by management

If so, we are looking for you to join our team as a Part Time Occupancy and Recertification Specialist at our 200-unit affordable community Hacienda in Phoenix, AZ.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Through your daily interactions with prospective and current residents, you’ll create a welcoming experience and sense of community.
• Process certifications (including initial, interim, and annual); calculate retroactive rent while conforming to all applicable guidelines.
• Collect necessary documentation from current or prospective residents, and process verifications.
• Organized and Detail-Oriented: Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while efficiently managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Self-Sufficient and Adaptable: Complete tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Effective Time Management: Prioritize and manage time to consistently meet deadlines and expectations.
• Support site and office operations as assigned by manager.

ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE

• $20.00 - $22.00 / hour
• Annual Performance Bonus
• This position is Non-Exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay

This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.

• Must have knowledge of HUD/Public Housing/Tax Credit policies and procedures
• Detail oriented and the ability to operate on a deadline driven schedule
• Possess strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
• 2-4 years leasing experience
