Job summary

The Moorings of Arlington Heights, Arlington Heights, IL, is seeking a Concierge to welcome visitors, guide them to the appropriate departments, and manage the sign-in process in a resident-focused community. This role is stationed at The Moorings of Arlington Heights and supports the Concierge Department.

You will handle calls, assist with census, admissions/discharges, and coordinate deliveries and guest suites, contributing to a wellness-focused environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and professional phone manners.
• Proficient with computers and software applications.
• Ability to work independently on special projects and follow directions.
• Professional appearance and adherence to uniform dress code.
• Customer-service orientation to assist residents comfortably.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and guide them to the appropriate departments.
• Answer and route calls with information and directions.
• Maintain the Independent Living Census and coordinate admissions/discharges.
• Manage package, prescription, and flower deliveries with resident notification for pickup.
• Oversee guest suite reservations and coordinate with housekeeping and food service for checkout.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, provide guidance to the appropriate departments, and manage the sign-in process, including notifying residents of visitor arrivals.
• Answer and route calls, offering general information and directions as needed.
• Maintain the Independent Living Census, handle admissions and discharge, and communicate updates to relevant staff.
• Manage package, prescription, and flower deliveries by logging items and notifying residents for pick-up.
• Oversee guest suite reservations, including coordinating with housekeeping and food service, and ensure proper checkout processes.
