Job summary

The Moorings of Arlington Heights is hiring part-time waitstaff to join our dining team in Arlington Heights, IL. Shifts include day and night hours, with weekends and holidays required. You will take orders, serve meals, and help create a warm, resident-focused dining experience.

We value compassion, teamwork, and a friendly, professional presence. No previous bartending or heavy lifting required, just a passion for service and resident care. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of serving/waitstaff experience.
• Serve Safe Food handlers preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages in the proper sequence.
• Take orders using a tablet with accuracy.
• Know menu options and dietary modifications.
• Keep tables neat and reset them promptly after guests depart.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks before, during, and after dining room operations, including menu review and side jobs.
• Serve food and beverages in the proper sequence.
• Utilize a tablet for order taking with accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of meals offered and adhere to dietary modifications as needed.
• Keep tables neat and clean, promptly removing soiled dishes and resetting tables uniformly.
• Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, addressing any complaints or unsafe conditions.
