Job summary

Amerijet International is seeking an Operations Coordinator in Miami, FL to serve as the central link between the Operation Control Center and Ground Operations. The role ensures on-time flight operations by monitoring handling activities, coordinating with stations and internal teams, and managing documentation.

Responsibilities include load planning, weight and balance, and support for irregular operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of airline operations or related field preferred.
• AIMS and/or SmartKargo experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel and Word experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Confirm payload and cargo information from flight coordinators or station personnel.
• Ensure all logistical documents are secured, shared, and signed when required.
• Maintain Electronic Flight Folders (NOTOC/W&B/Loadsheets/Emails) for each flight.
• Coordinate with dispatch, ramp, maintenance and other depts.
• Monitor ground handling activities before arrival and after departure.
• Notify CBP and manage landing rights for flights as needed.
• Send flight projections to relevant parties and update changes promptly.
• Maintain flight checklists and station contact lists.
• Daily audit of flight folders for data accuracy.
• Assist with load planning and weight and balance calculations.
