Job summary

Solvable in Orange County, CA, seeks a Head of Engineering to own the full platform—from data foundation and measurement to monetization services. You will lead a senior, distributed team, own architecture, delivery, and uptime, and be the accountable engineering owner in the same time zone as the business.

You will write production code, review peers, and drive a fast-paced, revenue-focused engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building software.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams that shipped revenue-critical systems.
• Owned a production data pipeline and experience with revenue-impacting systems.
• Migrated off shared/partner infrastructure without revenue loss.
• Shipped production ML impacting operational decisions.
• Led teams across time zones with a practical collaboration method.

Responsibilities

• Set architecture and ship features; stay close to codebase.
• Lead sprint cadence, forecasting, and delivery quality.
• Serve as senior technical resource for a distributed team.
• Own CI/CD, observability, access controls, PII handling, and audits.
• Collaborate with platform and data partners on integrations.
• Report progress to CEO and board gates.
