Job summary

Machinify is hiring a Technical Senior Engineering Manager to lead the COB engineering team building a scalable, AI-driven, cloud-native solution. You will set technical direction, establish engineering standards, and mentor a growing team of 5–6 engineers across product, platform, DS, ML, UX, QA and operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined technical leadership and engineering management.
• 8+ years building production backend services and applications.
• Hands-on experience building and operating microservice architectures on containers and orchestration with strong observability.
• Proficiency in Java, GoLang, Scala, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, technical roadmap, and production releases for CORA, ensuring quality, reliability, and delivery pace.
• Stay hands-on through architectural design, code review, and selective coding where it sets the team standard.
• Hire, develop, and retain a team of 5–6 engineers with coaching and performance management.
• Establish engineering standards and delivery rhythm for an early-stage greenfield product.
• Guide core rules engine, claims pipeline, and AI improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
• Drive platform decisions for extensibility, scalability, and secure handling of regulated data.
