Job summary

Osceola Medical Center in Osceola, WI is seeking an OB Registered Nurse for a 0.9 FTE night shift in a critical access hospital. The OB RN provides care across prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum, with cross-training to float to Medical-Surgical or ED.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited RN program, Wisconsin-licensed, and certified in BLS, ACLS, NRP, with STABLE or willing to obtain within 6 months; 1 year L&D preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Licensed in the state of Wisconsin and in good standing.
• Active BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE certification (or obtain within 6 months).
• Preferred: 1 year labor and delivery experience, preferably at a critical access hospital.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standards of Nursing Care and Nursing Process to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Manage full birthing process from admission to discharge, including triage of complications.
• Monitor fetal heart rates, contractions, and assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Provide mother and newborn care, including lactation support and education.
• Respond to OB emergencies and communicate end-of-shift handoffs via SBAR.
• Float to other units as needed and be proficient in Epic documentation.
