Job summary

Osceola Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and manage transitions of care on the 6p-6a night shift. The RN will lead care planning, delegate tasks based on acuity and resources, and participate in quality improvement with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN program, Wisconsin licensure in good standing, active BLS, and ACLS (or to obtain within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing care in accordance with Nurse Practice acts.
• Follows Nursing Standards of Care and Nursing Process.
• Performs timely and accurate patient assessments.
• Plans, implements, and documents focused care plans with goals.
• Evaluates patient progress toward goals and communicates with care team.
• Administers medications following standards and policy.
• Contributes to patient experience and teamwork.
• Communicates end-of-shift patient status clearly to the care team.
