Job summary

Osceola Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 0.9 FTE night position in Osceola, WI. The role combines 0.6 FTE in a regularly scheduled ED block with 0.3 FTE cross‑coverage in Med/Surg and ED based on staffing needs and patient acuity.

Schedule is 6:00 pm–6:30 am with every 3rd weekend rotation and two holidays per year. The RN provides care via assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensures patient and family teaching, and leads in collaboration

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing with current WI RN licensure in good standing.
• Minimum of one year RN experience; ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with registration, ED clinicians, and Urgent Care clinicians to direct patients to the appropriate care setting.
• Initiates approved nursing-driven orders and clinical protocols within the RN's scope of practice, organizational policy, and validated competency.
• Provides skilled nursing care in accordance with Nurse Practice acts.
• Delicates care appropriately to other team members.
• Follows Standards of Nursing Care and Nursing Process for high-quality patient care.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and effective communication with the care team and families.
