Job summary

Intermountain Health in Miles City, MT is hiring a Registered Nurse for Holy Rosary Obstetrics. The Staff RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process and coordinate with the health team on-site.

This full-time role requires Montana RN licensure, BLS, OB/L&D experience, and completion of NRP within 18 months and STABLE within 2 years. Three 12-hour shifts weekly; on-site at Holy Rosary Hospital with a focus on family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Nurses with an ASN degree hired after July 1, 2020 must obtain a BSN within five years or face a review process with possible extension.
• Nurses with 10+ years of RN experience in acute or long-term care may be exempt from the BSN requirement.
• Current Montana RN license is required.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
• NRP within 18 months of hire and STABLE within 2 years of hire.
• One year of nursing experience in a comparable setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Foster continuity and quality of care with the well-being of patients and their families in mind.
• Assess a patient’s medical status upon admission.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
