Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist Opportunity:
Mercy Health Physicians Youngstown is seeking a Hospital and Practice MFM specialist to join our growing Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as part of the Women’s Service Line.
You will collaborate with a team of MFMs to develop standards for antepartum and intrapartum care, as well as to educate, supervise, and provide direct care for patients served by Women’s Services. Candidates will have dedicated time for practice, research, and education activities.
As one of the largest providers of Level III obstetrical services in Ohio and the largest obstetrics provider in Mahoning Valley, St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital delivers over 3,400 babies annually, and St. Joseph Warren Hospital over 1,200.
Our multi-specialty group seeks an experienced MFM specialist to provide weekday, evening, and weekend coverage at our hospitals, offering High Risk Perinatology services. There are opportunities for service line growth, academic oversight of medical students, and residents in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
Requirements:
Ideal candidates are board-certified in MFM (MD or DO), demonstrate clinical excellence, possess superior communication skills, and prioritize quality patient care. Additional qualifications include active OB/GYN skills, Ohio licensure, and a commitment to safety and quality initiatives. Malpractice insurance eligibility, at least 5 years of active practice, and a successful track record are required.
