Job description

Job Description:

• This OB/GYN will be part of the current practice with 4.5 FTE, adding another 1.0 OB/GYN, resulting in a 1:6 call schedule when this person is hired.
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday, plus every 6th weekend. The schedule includes taking turns doing a 24-hour shift during the week, followed by a post-call light admin day (not seeing patients).
• Provide laparoscopic procedures, D&C, and evacuations for missed abortions. Both locations are equipped with robotic surgery systems; St. Mary has the older Si version but will soon upgrade to the Xi, and Nazareth has recently acquired the Xi system.
• Note: Not accepting locum candidates.

Facility Description:

• Level 2 nursery in need of a permanent OB/GYN.
• Approximately 80% low-risk pregnancies.
• Cesarean section rate of 25-30%.
• Using Meditech EMR system.
• All office equipment is new.
