- Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified, trauma level 3, and PEDs level 2 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. There are an average of 750 deliveries per year and 5 patients per shift. One provider has stopped delivering babies and withdrawn from the OB call rotation, so the facility needs coverage for vacations until a new partner starts in November. The department has 16 beds (8 LDRP and 8 couplet/GYN). Nurse staffing is 1:1 during labor, 2:1 postpartum, and 4:1 in women s health. The office has one NP and a total of 16 staff members, including MAs, RNs, and PSRs. The highest need dates are May and August 4 10, but any additional coverage during that timeframe would be helpful. On weekdays, coverage is only needed at night, as current providers can handle daytime shifts.
