• Serves as primary educator for new staff and coordinates with unit preceptors.
• Mentors new nurses via programs (new grad / preceptor groups).
• Coordinates and develops education programs from needs assessments.
• Implements instructional methods for nursing staff.
• Maintains certifications and portfolio development for staff.
• Collaborates with unit leadership to plan yearly education calendar.
