Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Nurse Educator to implement and evaluate education plans across hospital departments. You will partner with market leadership to deliver orientation, RN residency, and preceptor programs using evidence-based teaching methods.

The role requires a nursing license, a Bachelor in Nursing, and a Master’s in Nursing or Education is preferred. Strong communication, independent work, and proficiency with learning design and clinical information systems are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in nursing required; masters preferred.
RN licensure from an accredited program.
Experience in nursing education and program development.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and evaluation of learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

Implement and evaluate education plans aligned with needs assessment and leadership guidance.
Facilitate RN residency, onboarding, and preceptor programs.
Deliver education using adult learning theories and evidence-based practice.
Monitor and report on educational program performance and outcomes.
Collaborate with leadership and clinical stakeholders to meet nursing education goals.
