Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Six months as Clinical Nurse I with AHS or one year full-time in a comparable hospital/unit.
• Current valid California RN license and BLS certification.
• ACLS required; TNCC/CCRN/PALS/NRP may be required depending on unit.
• Perinatal safety modules within 3 months of hire where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care including medications and treatments under supervision.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; maintain nursing records.
• Develop and modify care plans; coordinate with physicians and departments.
• Monitor telemetry, identify arrhythmias, and alert primary nurse as needed.
• Supervise and/or lead unit staff as team leader or charge nurse when assigned.
• Promote a healthful, safe, and therapeutic environment; ensure infection control.
• Participate in standards, infection control, and quality assurance activities.
• Educate patients and families on care and prevention; prepare for procedures.
• Assist physicians with procedures and patient positioning; ensure equipment readiness.
• Document care accurately and timely; communicate changes to the care team.
