Job summary

NorthBay Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery Unit to provide safe, high‑quality nursing care following its practice model. You will assess and plan care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and support patient and family wellbeing during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

Required CA RN license with BLS; ACLS within a year and NRP within 4 months. L&D experience is preferred, with opportunities to advance to circulating roles and OB surgical

Qualifications

• Current California RN license
• BLS (AHA) required; ACLS within 12 months
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within 4 months
• National nursing certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for labor and delivery patients.
• Provide therapeutic relationships with patients and families and work with interdisciplinary team.
• Perform labor assessments, vaginal examinations, and monitor fetal status.
• Circulate and OB surgical recovery within specified timeframes.
