Practice Overview A mission-driven, multi-site healthcare organization in California’s Central Valley is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN physicians to join an established, expanding Women’s Health Department.
Operating a network of Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) alongside private and commercial PPO clinics, the organization delivers comprehensive primary care, behavioral health, dental, and women's health services to rural, agricultural, and medically underserved populations.
Opportunity Highlights Turnkey Practice: Immediate succession opportunity to take over an existing patient panel, established clinical workflows, and active hospital referrals from a transitioning physician.
Departmental Growth: Strategic expansion plan to onboard 2 to 4 full-time OB/GYNs over the next 18–24 months, supported by Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Academic & Teaching Potential: Opportunity to participate in clinical teaching and curriculum leadership for a planned ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency program (women's health core rotation).
Balanced Payer Mix: Blended practice model serving both safety-net RHC populations and private/commercial payer panels.
Clinical Scope & Practice Model The practice accommodates varied clinical focus areas based on candidate training:
Full-Scope OB/GYN: Comprehensive prenatal care, labor and delivery, cesarean sections, gynecologic surgery, and full outpatient clinical care.
Outpatient-Focused Track: Low-risk prenatal care, routine gynecologic exams, colposcopy, and office-based procedures, with inpatient delivery and surgical coverage shared or referred.
Subspecialty / Advanced Clinical Interests: Support for areas of concentration including Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS), Urogynecology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM).
Midwifery & Team Coverage: Integrated CNM support handles labor triage, low-risk deliveries, and outpatient visits to optimize physician surgical and high-risk case time.
Call Structure: Collaborative call schedule with community medical groups engineered to provide protected post-call recovery periods and eliminate solo call burdens.
Inpatient Facilities: Regional hospital affiliations provide access to modern L&D suites, Level II/III nurseries, and surgical operating suites (subject to standard credentialing).
Schedule: Standard 4- to 5-day workweek with flexible schedule design.
Compensation & Comprehensive Benefits Base Salary: $500,000 – $650,000+ guarantee, with total earning potential exceeding $700,000+ via surgical volume, leadership stipends, and call pay.
Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

Licensure: Unrestricted Medical License from the Medical Board of California (or eligible for expedited licensure) and active DEA registration.
Mission Alignment: Commitment to treating rural, agricultural, and underserved patient populations within a values-driven community healthcare environment.
Language Proficiency: Spanish language skills are strongly preferred given community demographics (~60% Spanish-speaking), but not mandatory.
Immigration: Open to international medical graduates requiring visa support (H-1B, J-1 Conrad 30 waiver pathways).
