Job summary
Allina Health Eden Prairie Clinic is seeking a full-time Obstetrician/Gynecologist to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care within a multispecialty clinic setting. You will review patient histories, synthesize data, interpret information, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans for patients and families.
Deliveries occur at affiliated centers; after-hours support available; opportunities for mentorship and CME allowance are
Qualifications
- Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice, board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross, or Allina in-house BLS training within 30 days of hire
- DEA Certificate upon hire
- Prescription Monitoring Program upon hire
- National Provider Identifier upon hire
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care.
- Review patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
- Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care.
- Provides education, consultation or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.
- Provide care in an ambulatory clinic and gyn surgical coverage.
- Review medical histories and synthesize clinical information to develop individualized treatment plans
- Educate and counsel patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care

- Seven labor and delivery locations, 12,300 deliveries annually, OBGYNs, Hospitalists, Clinical Nurse Midwives/APP's & Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists
- Nursing Support programs for Rx refills, triage and pap results
- After hours answering service support & Anesthesiology available
- Quaternary hospital: Abbott Northwestern, Lv IV NICU; Tertiary hospitals - Mercy and United with level III NICUs, and 6 regional hospitals

- Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine
- Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in OB/GYN
- Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice if working in the State of MN required and must be board certified or be eligible for board certification within Obstetrics and Gynecology upon hire
- Must meet at least ONE of the requirements below:
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross
Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire) - Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate upon hire required
- Prescription Monitoring Program upon hire required
- National Provider Identifier upon hire required
- Medium Work*:
- Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently
Pay Range: $310,000 to $348,500 per yearThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
