Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
• BE/BC with ABMS or AOA within Obstetrics and Gynecology upon hire.
• Active, non-restricted MN medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to obtain MN DEA certification and NPI.
• Credentialing and hospital privileges requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provider based at Buffalo Clinic with inpatient services on campus at Buffalo Hospital.
• Collaborate within a care delivery team of BE/BC OB/GYN physicians; join 4 others.
• Utilize advanced ORs and DaVinci robotics in procedures.
• Share evening/weekend call obligations; approximately 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend per month.

Buffalo Hospital OB/GYN provides comprehensive care for women across all stages of life. This opportunity combines surgical expertise, obstetrical care, and outpatient services in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

• Eight labor and delivery locations; 13,800 deliveries/year; 30 clinics; 53 OBGYNs; 21 OB hospitalists; 13 Clinical Nurse Midwives, 11 Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, 2 fetal interventionalists.
• Nursing Support programs for Rx refills, triage and pap results
• After hours answering service support

Job Description:

• This provider is based out of our Buffalo Clinic with inpatient services right on campus at Buffalo Hospital.
• Strong cohesive group with great retention - position is open due to retirement
• Functions appropriately as part of a care delivery team through efficient use of resources and skills including 4 other BE/BC OBGYN Physicians
• Cutting-edge ORswithfresh expansion and state-of-the-art DaVinci robotics

• Shares in evening/weekend unrestricted call with Buffalo Hospital. Approximately 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend per month

Job Requirements

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required
• BE/BC with ABMS or AOA within Obstetrics and Gynecology upon hire
• Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable
• Current BLS certification with AHA, ARC or Allina in-house BLS training within 30 days of hire

Pay Range

Pay Range: $355,300 to $410,000 per year. The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
