Job summary

Bryan College Of Health Sciences is seeking a Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures under physician supervision, including obstetrical, gynecological, interventional, and vascular studies.

The role requires ARDMS certification (abdomen and OB/GYN) within 3 months of hire, adherence to AIUM guidelines, and prior clinical experience in abdomen/OB-GYN ultrasound. CPR certification is also required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program is required.
• ARDMS certification with abdomen and OB/GYN specialties is required within three months of hire.
• Follow AIUM guidelines to maintain certification.
• Two years of clinical abdomen and OB/GYN ultrasound experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs obstetrical, gynecological, interventional, and vascular ultrasound studies.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and maintains documentation of studies.
• Ensures patient safety, confidentiality, and proper infection control.
• Coordinates exams with other departments and communicates with patients and families.
• Mentors students and participates in teaching activities.
