Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience preferred.
• 1 year PRN eligibility; must have one year of OR experience.
• Delivery room or scrub tech training course required.
• ABLS - Advanced Burn Life Support upon hire required.
• Comparable education/experience substitutions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties and maintains sterile field.
• Inspects sterile items for contamination.
• Assists with cesarean delivery and other procedures while maintaining asepsis.
• Maintains electronic and paper medical records.
• Adheres to infection control and hospital policies.
• Assists with orientation of new employees.
• Regular attendance and ability to work scheduled hours.
