Job summary

Mercy Health in Springfield Regional Medical Center is seeking a Progressive Care RN to support the Observation Unit. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.

The role requires current RN license, BLS/ACLS (preferred), and at least 1 year of RN experience in acute care. Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred; Mercy Health supports professional development and provides comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Current state RN license (required)
• BLS and/or ACLS certification preferred or required within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment; create and adjust care plans
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination across departments
• Act as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement
• Administer medications safely per policy and state practice
• Perform other duties as assigned
