Job summary

The role requires RN licensure in North Carolina, a BSN, and management experience with a strong focus on patient experience, safety, and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in North Carolina with BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years clinical management experience, 3–5 years in Med Surg/ED/Urgent Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise and coordinate unit functions and activities.
• Develop and implement policies to guide service provision.
• Establish collaborative relationships with interdisciplinary team.
• Facilitate team meetings, rounds and communication among patients and staff.
• Ensure compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain safety and infection control protocols within the unit.
• Ensure staff competence in equipment use.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and quality control.
• Oversee patient flow and discharge coordination to optimize throughput.
• Manage department budgets and strategic plans.
