Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the Observation Unit in Macomb County. This full-time role (36 hours/week) offers day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. under the supervision of an RN, focusing on patient safety, comfort, and input to care plans.

You will perform direct patient care, respond to emergent situations, and participate in ongoing education while upholding Henry Ford Health System standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or equivalent is required or currently enrolled in nursing program.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred; CNA certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN in providing direct patient care to meet safety and comfort needs.
• Provide input to help plan and implement patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
