Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit on a Midnight shift (24 hours/week). The role provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality patient care using the nursing process.

You will communicate with patients, families and the care team, and contribute to solving variances from patient goals through effective care plans. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program with current Michigan licensure; BCLS

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in coordination and delivery of quality patient care.
• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care and teaching.
• Communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
